Liquid Propane (Autogas)

ROUSH CleanTech offers the 5.4L V8 Gas engine (with Engine Prep Package Option) available for conversion to propulsion by Propane (Autogas). It also has a system adaptable for the 6.8L V10 gas engine available in E450 Vans. There is more than one QVM certified bodybuilder that offers bodies with higher fuel capacity systems incorporated in their bodies for greater range. This fuel is significantly the more easy-to-source alternate fuel, and on-site facilities for refueling fleets are at a substantially lower installation cost, compared to that of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG).
